Privacy Policy

Pitch Changer decodes, previews, processes, and exports audio locally in browser memory. Its tools can change pitch or speed, reverse audio, adjust frequency bands, create slowed and reverberated copies, estimate BPM and song key, or calculate BPM from manual taps. The current service has no audio upload endpoint, account system, payment flow, or cloud audio storage.

Selected audio bytes, decoded buffers, preview state, and exported WAV files stay on your device. Refreshing or closing the page clears the in-memory workbench state, subject to ordinary browser behavior.

Your browser may save a downloaded result when you choose the download link. That local download is controlled by you and your browser settings.

Hosting and network providers may process ordinary request data needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, request time, requested URL, user agent, and security events.

If you use the Feedback form, Pitch Changer stores the category, message, optional reply email, page path, site language, and submission time in a dedicated Cloudflare D1 database. We use this information to review problems and ideas and to reply when you provide an email address.

Feedback never includes selected audio, file names, decoded audio, exported files, or tool settings. The site may use request network information momentarily to limit excessive submissions, but it does not store that network identifier in the feedback table.

Feedback is retained while it is useful for review, response, and product history. You can request deletion through the contact email below.

On the production site, Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity load with analytics and advertising storage denied by default. Before you allow analytics cookies, they may send limited cookieless measurements such as page visits, basic interactions, browser and device details, and IP-derived information. If allowed, they may use analytics cookies or similar identifiers for more complete analytics. Advertising storage stays disabled. Plausible loads only when analytics are permitted by the current regional policy or your saved choice.

Plausible pageviews contain only a sanitized page URL with the path and standard UTM campaign parameters. Its automatic form, download, outbound-link, and route tracking are disabled; Pitch Changer sends each allowed pageview through the same consent-controlled analytics component.

Your choice is saved in this browser. Use Privacy choices to allow, decline, or revisit analytics cookies at any time. Changes apply immediately and do not reload the page.

Every audio workspace and result area is masked for Clarity so displayed file names, BPM or key estimates, Tap Tempo results, and tool values are hidden from recordings. The Feedback dialog is also masked so feedback messages and reply emails are hidden. Analytics scripts do not receive selected audio bytes, decoded audio, exported WAV files, detected BPM or key, the custom Tap Tempo interval sequence, or feedback form values.

Clarity masking hides displayed content. Standard session-replay telemetry may still record ordinary pointer positions, clicks, and their timing. Repeated Tap Tempo clicks can therefore be visible as interaction timing even though the calculated BPM and custom event payload omit the raw tap sequence.
